Where can teenagers learn bass guitar, basket weaving, welding, and animal husbandry, participate in sports and hit the slopes, all the while still fitting in school? Right here at Days Creek Charter High School. There’s still time to enroll high school students at our charter high school and there is still space in grades 9th through 12th. Our school has many new upgrades this year, including facility and technology improvements. These improvements augment our varied course offerings. While our school offers the homey, community feel of a small school, students have opportunities to take a number of non-traditional classes, like anthropology and rock 101, along with required courses. Our small size allows us flexibility to give students the individualized attention they need, so we offer math and English tutoring during the school day for students who need more assistance. We also have partnerships with two Southern Oregon colleges to offer dual high school-college credit for math and writing. Student aide and on-site internship opportunities allow hands on experience with business, education, food service, and technology professions.
